Introduction
Sonic Drilling Ltd has been developed to provide our clients with a comprehensive but specialist geotechnical design and contracting service. Our emphasis is on restricted access and associated works but a listing of our principal offerings is given within this site.

By combining our established knowledge in the manufacture and application of drilling equipment and techniques with an operations team having extensive experience in many aspects of geotechnical engineering, Sonic can now achieve the high standards of quality & value, and of course safety, in the contracting field which customers demand.

Background
The company was formed in 2005 with the initial aim of undertaking geothermal and water well projects together with the treatment of mine shafts and workings by drilling and grouting. This target having been met, Sonic's capabilities now extend to the design and construction of geotechnical projects involving the methods and systems which you can view via the Processes tab.

The Basics
Many of the techniques we carry out can be combined into a convenient and cost-effective package in order to avoid complicated interfacing of multiple subcontractors. We even offer to take on minor civils or building work in connection with our specialist activities in cases where this will make a convenient and time saving work parcel for you.

Last but not least, as you look through the site, don't forget that our Sonic Drilling system with its rapid rate of penetration and cost-effectiveness can be applied in appropriate circumstances to many of the processes we undertake.
